HOW TO ORDER YOUR GATE WITH SIDE PANELS

Our gates with side panels are fully custom‑fabricated at our facility in California. Because every space is unique, we do not offer standard sizes for these configurations. Each system is built to your exact measurements and layout preferences.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To begin fabrication, customers provide:

• Total rough opening width

• Desired overall height

Preferred configuration:

• Single gate with one side panel

• Single gate with two side panels

• Dual gates with one side panel

• Dual gates with two side panels

• Preferred gate width and panel widths (if applicable)

Hinge side and swing direction

• (Selections are made as viewed from the outside of the gate.)

Every system is fabricated specifically to fit the customer’s space.

HOW WE FABRICATE YOUR GATE & PANELS

Design Panels

• All design work is cut from 12‑gauge hot‑rolled steel

• Designs are scaled proportionally across the gate and side panels for a unified, balanced appearance

Frame Construction

• Gate frame: 1.5″ x 1.5″ steel square tubing, 16‑ga wall thickness

• Side panel frames: 1.5″ x 1.5″ steel square tubing, 16‑ga wall thickness

• Arched designs:

  • The arch applies only to the gate panel

  • Side panels remain straight‑top for proper alignment and structural integrity

  • Arched gates include a 1.5″ steel plate top

MOUNTING

Our gate‑and‑panel systems are fabricated to be side‑mounted to the customer’s existing walls or posts.

Side panels include:

• A 1.5″ long 1‑hole footer plate at the bottom

• This plate bolts to the ground to provide stability near the gate hinge area and prevent inward/outward flexing

If a different mounting method is required — such as extended posts for embedding, simple post extensions, or foot plates for floor attachment — an upcharge may apply.

HINGES

• Heavy‑duty non‑removable welded hinges included

• Hinges are welded from the gate to the frame or post

Customer selects hinge side and swing direction

• (Selections are made as viewed from the outside of the gate.)

LOCK PREPARATION

We offer the following lock‑prep options for the gate panel:

• Single‑hole lock box (standard lever)

• Double‑hole lock box (lever + deadbolt)

• No lock box (compatible with a standard gravity latch)

Customer supplies lock hardware.

FINISH

Every gate and side panel includes:

• Sandblasting

• Baked‑on zinc primer

• Premium powder‑coated finish

• Black Hammer included

• Additional colors available for an upgrade fee

LEAD TIME

Please allow 25–30 business days for fabrication.

Each gate and side panel system is custom fabricated per order.

You will not find a gate like this at your local hardware store.
